Pop punk’s professional good-time makers Bowling For Soup have done it again—this time shattering the 1 BILLION Spotify streams barrier! Not bad for “easily the 9th greatest pop-punk band in history,” a title they wear like a championship belt. For three decades, these Texas legends have turned stages into sun-drenched backyard bashes, armed with massive singalongs, stand-up-level banter, and an energy that makes even the biggest arenas feel like your best friend’s block party.

Frontman Jaret Reddick was floored when he heard the news:

“I was completely blown away… My wife sent me a screenshot… asked ‘is this real?’ I was like, ‘I have no idea!’ Turns out, it is. Crazy. It’s definitely a testament to the loyalty of our amazing fanbase. We are very blessed.”

And there’s zero chance they’re slowing down. Right now, Bowling For Soup are storming the country with Simple Plan, 3OH!3, and LØLØ, unleashing wall-to-wall fun in cities like Los Angeles, Denver, Milwaukee, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, and wrapping it all up in Irving, TX.

From their van-grinding Texas days to winning over the U.K. with “The Bitch Song” in 2000, BFS have stacked the pop punk hall of fame with classics like “Girl All the Bad Guys Want” (yep, Grammy-nominated), “1985,” “Punk Rock 101,” and “High School Never Ends.” Add in theme songs for Jimmy Neutron and Phineas and Ferb, and you’ve got a soundtrack for multiple generations of fans—many now bringing their kids to shows so they can scream every lyric together.

Last year, they celebrated 30 years of pop-punk chaos and 20 years of their smash album A Hangover You Don’t Deserve with sold-out tours across the U.S., U.K., and Australia. Even after longtime guitarist Chris Burney retired in early 2025, Reddick, Gary Wiseman, and Rob Felicetti kept the party rolling—because, as they put it, “You can’t replace a legend.”
