From the pit to the spotlight: Emo Nite, Vans Warped Tour, and Breaking & Entering open doors for a new wave of artists

Date:

Emo kids, rejoice! Two pillars of alternative music culture are officially joining forces. Emo Nite and Vans Warped Tour have announced a new partnership with Breaking & Entering that aims to put emerging artists front and center at select Emo Nite events across the country.

The collaboration is all about discovery. Ahead of this year’s Vans Warped Tour festivals, local bands will be hand-picked by Emo Nite to perform live on dedicated stages at Emo Nite events in cities nationwide. The goal? Give fans a chance to experience rising artists in the same communal, sing-your-heart-out environment that Emo Nite has been known for over the past decade.

What started as a spontaneous party in a small Los Angeles dive bar has grown into a global phenomenon, with Emo Nite now spanning more than 50 cities worldwide. At its core, the event has always been about connection. It’s a space where people can scream along to emo and pop-punk anthems, make friends, and fully be themselves. Adding live performances from emerging bands feels like a natural next step.

Over the years, Emo Nite has already helped spotlight artists on the rise, including Movements, YUNGBLUD, Charlotte Sands, Royal & the Serpent, DE’WAYNE, Sophie Powers, BEAUTY SCHOOL DROPOUT, and more. This new partnership formalizes that role, creating a clear pathway for new talent to reach passionate, built-in audiences.

“Vans Warped Tour has always been about discovering what’s next, and Breaking & Entering keeps that spirit alive year-round,” Emo Nite shared, pointing to the shared values of community, accessibility, and artist discovery that define all three brands.

For Vans Warped Tour, the collaboration aligns seamlessly with its legacy. Over its 30-year run, Warped Tour became the definitive summer festival for rock and alternative fans, shaping entire generations through genre-blending lineups, skate culture, activism, and an emphasis on discovering new artists.

In 2026, Warped Tour is expanding once again, rolling out five two-day festivals across Washington, D.C., Long Beach, and Orlando, while also launching its first international editions in Montreal and Mexico City.

Artists interested in being part of the Emo Nite & Vans Warped Tour collaboration can submit their music to [email protected].

If history is any indication, this partnership won’t just celebrate emo nostalgia. It’ll help define what the future of alternative music sounds like, one sweaty singalong at a time.
