Fall Out Boy has announced the 20th Anniversary rerelease of their beloved album From Under the Cork Tree.
One of the most iconic bands to emerge from the Chicago music scene, the band shared on their Instagram earlier this week that the anniversary album will be released on Oct. 17. Not only will fans get all of the songs they know and love from the album remastered, but they can also expect 13 additional tracks, including live and acoustic performances.
Pre-orders are currently available for physical copies in two versions: a 2CD and a 3LP. With both, fans will receive exclusive, specially designed items including a replica 2006 The Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour poster, ticket, and backstage laminate, tour set list, “A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More ‘Touch Me’”-inspired comic cover, “Dance, Dance” prom photo frame, and a copy of a handwritten letter from Pete Wentz.
From Under the Cork Tree contains some of Fall Out Boy’s most iconic songs and was truly a turning point for the band, and it’s a surreal feeling that it’s been two decades since the album’s initial release. The band shared that “This record changed our lives forever. It’s wild to still be singing these songs together 20 years later and even better that you’re still singing them back.”
