Superstar musician and storyteller Emily Weisband is back again with a new release that will leave you with chills and tears. If you thought her last year release of her EP Not Afraid To Say Goodbye was amazing, well you’re about to be blown away even more. The EP in itself is full of brilliant songs already. But what if they were stripped back? Well look no further, as Emily is releasing a stripped back acoustic version of her hit EP. The stripped back Ep features the four original songs but this time stripped back to their most raw form. You can really feel the emotion in the stripped versions of each song. Emily does such an incredible job at telling a story through her music, one of this generation’s best storytellers. You can feel her raw emotion in each of her songs, and what she is going through as told in a story through each song. The stripped versions will leave you wanting more, and leave you feeling every emotion at once. That’s why Emily is so amazing. She puts her heart and soul into every one of her songs and that is so apparent here.
Emily explains, “I really dug deeper into my own artistry on this EP, and the response to it – especially in a year like 2020 and for an artist new to the game – blew me away! I’ve been in the studio working on my next project coming this spring, but I wanted to close the Not Afraid To Say Goodbye chapter with one last little intimate moment. It’s kind of a thank you to everyone who connected with it, and these stripped versions felt like the perfect way to do that!”
Both versions of Not Afraid to Say Goodbye are incredible in their own way. There is really nothing Emily can’t do at this point. She’s quickly taking the world by storm. You definetly don’t want to miss out on what she has in store, and we cant wait to see more music from her soon!
