Download Festival announces epic 2026 lineup: Limp Bizkit, Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park, and more

Date:

UK’s biggest rock and metal festival, Download Festival, will return to Donington Park in June 2026, with headliners nu-metal band Limp Bizkit, and Californian rock bands Guns N’ Roses and Linkin Park. The stacked lineup continues with Bad Omens, Cypress Hill, Trivium, Architects, Electric Callboy, Halestorm, and Ice Nine Kills, among others.

Spanning rock, punk, emo, and hardcore rock genres, the festival has announced over 90 bands joining the lineup, with additional announcements to follow.

The 23rd Download Festival will take place from Jun. 10 to 14, 2026, at Donington Park in Leicestershire, UK.

Tickets for the 2026 Download Festival are on sale now, including one-day passes, camping plans, RIP packages, and extras available on the event’s website. Tickets and more information are available here

Also on the standout lineup are BABYMETAL, Pendulum, The Pretty Reckless, Black Veil Brides, Behemoth, Mastodon, The All-American Rejects, Feeder, Cavalera, Static-X, and Blood Incantation. The full lineup is available on the festival’s website here

Making Download Festival history, Linkin Park will become the first female-fronted band to headline as they perform for the first time with frontwoman Emily Armstrong on vocals in 2026. This is the band’s first return to the event since they last performed in the summer of 2017.

Limp Bizkit was originally announced to be a headliner for the festival’s debut in 2003, but cancelled the performance before the event, marking 2026 as the “Break Stuff” band’s first Download headline 23 years later.

“Sweet Child O’ Mine” band Guns N’ Roses will return to the Download stages for the third time, having headlined in both 2006 and 2018 alongside Tool and Metallica, and Avenged Sevenfold and Ozzy Osbourne, respectively.

2026 will mark the 23rd year of the festival, with notable inaugural performances from rock acts Iron Maiden, Audioslave, A, and NOFX in 2003.

Download Festival 2025 took place in June, showcasing performances from over 120 artists, including headliners Green Day, Sleep Token, and Korn.
