Singer-songwriter Devon Gabriella is known for sharing her heart-wrenching and occasionally soul-crushing lyrics with listeners, as her sophomore EP is set to arrive this summer.
Gabriella’s six-song EP, The Garden, is set to be released on June 27, following the release of the first single, a title track, in March of this year. She says, “We’ve continued to build the most meaningful, vibrant world and community around this music.”

In a social post, Gabriella says, “The garden has truly become our home- a space for growth, connection, celebration, and everything in between. It’s simply all I could have ever asked for.
On Friday, Gabriella also released the single “Bad Blood,” which allowed her to articulate some complex feelings and put them into words.
For Gabriella, flowers grow and die before they regrow into something else that can be magical if you let them.
She said that the title and concept of the EP was “an absolute no-brainer,” explaining that these songs “challenged [her to grow,” and not just as an artist, but also as a human.
Regarding what it took to create the EP, she says:
“I was pushed to discover new parts of myself, take risks, [take] steps back, steps forward and everything in between. [At] the beginning of the writing process, I spent so long wondering who I was as a musician and was constantly questioning what defined me – what set me apart?? What made me special??? I i put SO much pressure on myself for this project to be a “step up” from my last. I felt like I had something to prove, but didn’t know what it was or how to prove it.”
