
David Byrne took to Instagram to share that he has finished up a new album called Who Is The Sky—due out on September 5th via Matador. The record is produced by Kid Harpoon and features Ghost Train Orchestra, St. Vincent, and Hayley Williams on select tracks. The first single, “Everybody Laughs,” is out now and is accompanied by a music video directed by Gabriel Barcia-Columbo.
Byrne will be touring this fall in support of his upcoming EP. The tour will kick off on September 14th in Providence, Rhode Island followed by stops in Akron, New York, Portland, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Austin, Auckland, Perth, Glasgow, London, and more before wrapping up in Paris, France on March 19th.
