Daniel Seavey expands debut album with new single “Eden”

Date:

After releasing his debut album Second Wind, Daniel Seavey went on to release his next single “Eden.” Daniel originally posted a small clip of the chorus on TikTok, but fans got their first official listen to the song when it was originally a vinyl exclusive. Anyone who purchased the vinyl of Second Wind had access to the full studio version of the track. “Eden” went on to become a fan favorite, leading up to the song now being officially released.

The song narrates the story of falling hard for someone so perfect that it feels fake. It’s about this person seeing things in you that you just can’t quite see for yourself, and not wanting to burden them with any darkness.

The release of this song has expanded the album from a 12-track project to 13 tracks. Seavey collaborated on “Eden” with producer and songwriter Michael Pollack, who has assisted on many songs that topped have the charts.

After seeing the response to “Eden” from fans who purchased the vinyl, Seavey made the decision to add it to the setlist for his world tour. Every night, he was shocked when the crowd would sing this song back to him, despite it being a vinyl exclusive. Seavey will resume singing “Eden” on tour on August 2nd when his Second Wind Tour picks up in Australia, and will continue touring in the UK in November for any dates that had been rescheduled. Tickets are available here.
