Cavetown shares new song “Ur Gonna Wish U Believed Me”

Date:

Cavetown is back and better than ever with his new song “Ur Gonna Wish U Believed Me”, off of his highly anticipated new EP Mans Best Friendout on June 4th. This song follows a string of other successful releases from Robbie that really cement his power in the music industry. The new track sees Robbie being vulnerable, confessing his regret for things said in the past. It’s a beautifully haunting song that many can relate to.

About the song Cavetown writes; “It’s about when you’re desperately asking for help, but made to feel like you’re not hurt or ill enough to get the assistance you need,” he says. “Feeling like anywhere you go for help, you are made to feel like it’s just attention-seeking behavior when you’re actually in a lot of pain.”

It’s a deeply personal song to Robbie, much like most of his music. He is always truly authentic and is never afraid to go the extra mile when writing his music. Robbie’s music is beautifully sad but uplifting at the same time. Many people around the world relate to the lyrics he has written, and they find a home in his music. That’s what makes him such a driving force in the music industry. No one is doing it like Cavetown.
