Brainheart and LORD & LAND are “Finding Magic” on new single

Date:

Any time you try something new, there is a chance that it might not turn out quite the way you imagined. For instance, when DJ, producer, and songwriter Brainheart debuted in 2019 with “Explore the World,” he did not anticipate it to go viral or end up in over 1M reels on Instagram – but it did. And when LORD & LAND started producing music in 2020, he developed a unique style that identifies with listeners, his previous experience in the music industry helping to determine which elements to incorporate into memorable songs and compositions. You never know what can happen, but as long as you stay open to the possibilities, you might just tap into what you want – and you might also find a little magic along the way.

On “Finding Magic,” Brainheart and LORD & LAND expand upon the importance of chasing your dreams and fully believing in yourself. Throughout the track, Brainheart blends organic instrumentation with electronic components, creating a distinct and prosperous world. The beats build up during the verses until they explode in the choruses, his blend of alt-rock, pop, and EDM taking center stage. Meanwhile, LORD & LAND gives us warm, folksy vocals that establish a sense of optimism. He sings, “I wish I’d known / That losing out was the best thing for my life” and “Sometimes we fall / But in our own way / We find some kind of magic,” imparting essential life lessons to listeners.

About the single, the press release mentions,

“Everyone has something they’ve always dreamed of seeing or doing, but it can be scary to leave what you’ve known your whole life to find out. This song is about getting to that place, not just looking at photographs of things you want to see, but rather just getting out there and doing it, no matter the cost.”
