Another day, another spectacular Big Thief single. The band is getting ready to release their sprawling double album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You on February 11th via 4AD and have already previewed it with a number of incredible singles. Today, the band has shared “Simulation Swarm”, which many listeners have already obsessed over in their live shows or when lead singer Adrianne Lenker revealed it in an Instagram Live last year. “Simulation Swarm” is a thing of beauty, with every band member locked in to create a beautiful folk-pop number that grooves harder than what we’ve heard from the band before. The band continues to fine-tune the very edges of their sound to create something incredibly beautiful and unique, and every single from DNWMIBIY that we’ve heard so far has been a stunner — and we haven’t even heard half of the album yet!
