benches announce new EP ‘Kill The Lights’ releasing on May 23

Date:

San Diego’s benches are wasting no time in 2025. Coming off a tour supporting Ireland’s Inhaler, the rock four-piece have announced their upcoming EP Kill The Lights with the release of its title track.

Kill The Lights’ lead single gives some insight into the upcoming EP with its upbeat pace manifesting the nervous lyrics about fear and anxiety, “Jesus was a family friend but never sent any cards.” The song showcases a darker sound for the band, offering excitement for fans over the forthcoming project.
