Ax and The Hatchetmen announce US headline tour

Chicago indie-rock band Ax and the Hatchetmen have just come off a tour supporting Fitz and the Tantrums, but the six-piece band are not resting any time soon. Their newly announced So Much To Tell You headlining tour across the US starts this fall.

Starting in October, the band will make 28 stops, starting in Urbana, Illinois, on the first of the month. Then, the group will move west through Missouri, Arizona, Utah and Nevada. Along the West Coast, Ax and the Hatchetmen will perform in both Los Angeles and San Francisco in California. Afterwards, the bands returns to Missouri to perform in St. Louis before heading south to Georgia, Arkansas and North Carolina. Across the East Coast, shows are set for Washington DC, Massachusetts and New York. The last leg of the tour sees the band return to some central states before finishing in Oklahoma, Texas, Florida and South Carolina in December.

There are five acts set to support the band across the extensive national tour, starting with Edgehill in Urbana and Cape Girardeau. Kids That Fly will open for the next seven shows followed by Foxtidefor another seven dates. Good Boy Daisy will support the six-piece in Kanas City, Oklahoma and Texas before John-Robert supports Ax and the Hatchetmen for the last four stops.
