Wisconsin-based metalcore band Archers has just dropped their newest high-octane single, “The Dirt.”
The track is a painfully relatable hybrid of high-energy metalcore and melodies infused with pop sensibility. A true metalcore track on its face, “The Dirt” appears to touch on the feeling of working towards your dreams only to be paralyzed by the thought of never truly making progress toward them and failing. Frontman Nathanael Pulley passionately sings the lyrics:
I know I should be cautious
Cause I’ve been staking up the losses
What if everything I’ve built my hopes on
Turns out rotten
The release of “The Dirt” comes after the band announced their signing to the Fearless Records global roster and their touring alongside Nothing More, Catch Your Breath, and Doobie this winter.
