Date:

Alternative-pop-rock trio lovelytheband is releasing their self-titled fourth studio album, lovelytheband, this Friday, Aug. 23 through Happy Accident Records/VYDIA.

lovelytheband has released their latest single, “day run out,” following the success of “nice to know you,” which peaked at No. 11 on the U.S. Alternative Radio charts and has garnered more than 10 million streams. The band — comprising Mitchy Collins, Jordan Greenwald and Sam Price — has also shared “take me to the moon,” “rock bottom” and the TikTok sensation “feel like summer.”

On the new single and upcoming album, lovelytheband Collins shares:

“We aimed to have this album make the statement ‘this is lovelytheband.’ We revisited soundscapes from our previous albums and lyrically made sure to keep the honest heart on our sleeves conversation going.”

The band initially came to fame in April 2017 with the single “broken,” which has since earned them more than 500 million streams, charting the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and Billboard Rock Airplay chart for several weeks, making it the second most successful song in the Alternative chart’s history. The trio released their debut album, finding it hard to smile (2018), featuring some songs from their first EP, everything i could never say (2017), making the Billboard 200 chart.

The upcoming self-titled record is a follow-up to lovelytheband’s third album, if we’re being honest (2023), which featured the cozy single “sail away.”

Presave the self-titled album, lovelytheband, now.

They will also co-headline a tour with Mod Sun titled the Here’s Your Flowers Tour, which kicks off on Sept. 28 in San Francisco, California, and will conclude on Nov. 11 in Los Angeles, California. You can purchase your tickets and find additional tour information when you click here.
