The trio of almost monday hails from the sunny shores of California, and we’ve been watching their rise into the upper echelon of indie pop for a couple of years now. Those sunny vibes are exceptionally apparent within “sun keeps on shining”, released today in anticipation of the band’s tour dates this summer that will see them hit festivals like Governor’s Ball, Wonderbus, and a headlining date at NYC’s Mercury Lounge. The song is an upbeat bop that hails back to the similarly sunshine-y sounds of acts like Len and early GROUPLOVE. It’s impossible to listen to without dancing along just a little bit, and it shows that these guys are at the top of their game right now.
