Alice Phoebe Lou announces sixth album ‘Oblivion’

Date:

Folk and indie pop artist Alice Phoebe Lou has announced her sixth album, Oblivion, is set to release on Oct. 24 via Nettwerk Music Group. The project is a collection of music Lou has been developing since her debut album, Shelter, serving as a personal archive of unreleased material.

Alongside the announcement, Lou released a new single titled “Pretender,” a reflective track about appreciating her journey with both strength and softness. The song explores themes of self-worth and staying true to oneself, even when conformity may be easier. The single highlights how authenticity can lead to a lasting impact.

Oblivion will also feature previously released tracks such as “You and I,” “The Surface” and “Old Shadows.” These songs mark Lou’s first fully self-produced work, signaling a new era of independence and brand-building for the artist.

Lou recently wrapped up sold-out shows at The Lodge Room in Los Angeles and is concluding her European tour. She is set to join Strongboi for the North American leg of their tour in support of Men I Trust.
