Alexandra John Releases The Funky Single “Lonely Night”

Date:

Brother and sister duo, Alexandra John have released their newest single, “Lonely Night,” a fun and groovy track despite being about feeling alone. Currently based in Los Angeles, Liza and Weston Cain take inspiration from artists including the Bee Gees, Daft Punk, and Earth Wind & Fire. Together as Alexandra John, the two hope to create music that inspires and relates with their fans.

“Lonely Night” starts off with funk bass and Liza’s deep, sultry voice. Diving into the chorus, a catchy drum beat plays along with several wind instruments while Liza sings, “Something in me don’t feel right // Taking anything insight // Can someone hold me tight? // I know it’s gonna be a lonely night.” The overall song is catchy and full, incorporating much of Alexandra John’s musical prowess, including guitar solos and a piano outro.

“Lonely Night” is a fun groovy song, perfect for those warm summer nights. Coming from their debut EP, Healing, each song “represents a layer of acceptance, reflecting the growth experienced during the tumultuous yet beautiful journey of life.”
