Last night was the headlining debut show of The Favors at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. The collaborative project between Ashe and FINNEAS featured songs from the debut album The Dream and both artists solo projects.

Matching the 70s-chic aesthetic of the band, the stage was covered in green with the band on platforms and golden lights coming in from all angles. On the keyboard was “The Dream,” a reference to the album. A white sheet in the back with the stage camera projecting only added to the retro vibe as The Favors walked into the stage.

The first song of the night was “Restless Little Heart” which released today on The Dream. With the debut album out today, many of the songs were live debuts including “David’s Brother,” “Moonshine,” “Necessary Evils,” “The Dream,” “Ordinary People,” “Time Square Jesus,” “Lake George” and “Home Sweet Home.”

A fan project took the spotlight mid way through the show with fans holding up signs with the “Time Square Jesus” lyric “Everybody knows that you’re my weakness” with different pictures of the band.

Having already collaborated before the formation of the band, Ashe and FINNEAS sung “Till Forever Falls Apart.” The two also turned solo songs “Let’s Fall In Love For The Night” and “Moral Of The Story” into duets for one another. FINNEAS performed “Cleats,” “Hollywood Forever,” “Break My Heart Again” and “For Cryin’ Out Loud!” from his solo project while Ashe sung “Angry Woman” and “Another Man’s Jeans” from her solo work.

The duo also performed The Favors singles “The Little Mess You Made” and “The Hudson” with the former having the backing vocals sung by the audience in the final chorus.

Drummer Martinelli came centre stage to sing “Someday I’ll Be Back In Hollywood” which poses the bands hypothetical breakup.

On the merch stand was a tote bag, vinyl, cap, t-shit and jumper. The tote bag was white with the bands logo for $30. The jumper was also white with a similar design for $70 and the white and green caps were $35. The Dream vinyl was selling for $35 and a black t-shirt with the phase “An evening with The Favors” was on sale for $40.

VIP ticket holders received signed tickets and lanyards as well as their own black tote bag with “An evening with The Favors” printed.

The next The Favors show takes place in New York on October 1st, 2025 then continues in Austin, Texas on the 4th of October. Information about the tour can be found here.
