LIVE REVIEW: Niall Horan’s Flicker World Tour Comes To A Beautiful End

Date:

With 81 stops across the globe, Niall Horan’s “Flicker World Tour” came to an end this past weekend. With this being his second tour in promoting his debut album Flicker, both the venues and production increase in size when compared to last years tour “Flicker Sessions.”

This past week, the Irish singer brought his world tour to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Alpharetta, GA (September 20). With summer coming to an end, Niall Horan was the perfect way to finish off the season.

With fans of all ages quickly filling up the open-air venue, it was very clear how diverse the 25-year-old singer’s fanbase is.

Niall’s set started on a high note as he performed one of his more up tempo songs, “On The Loose.” With lights constantly flashing in the background, Niall would jam and interact with his band members across the stage. Being a fan-favorite, the audience sang and danced along hyping up both Niall and the band.

With an exciting introduction, Niall greeted the crowd and stated wholeheartedly “If only you could see what I’m seeing,” to the thousands of fans that were present. Welcoming him with massive amounts of love, the venue quickly filled up with screams and cheers as the singer began the second song of the night, “The Tide.”

The concert got more emotional as things slowed down for the night. Performing his debut single, “This Town,” Niall had every single person in the audience singing along with him as several flashed lights across the venue. Keeping up with mood, the singer performed a beautiful rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark”.

With a setlist that consisted of covers, past songs from his One Direction days, and his most recent releases, the show pleased both old and new fans.

The singer effectively showcased his many talents, switching from guitar to piano, while demonstrating clear vocals. If there was ever any doubt that Niall would have a successful solo career, The Flicker World Tour was the perfect place to see how talented Niall Horan truly is.

It’s sad to see that both summer and The Flicker World Tour has come to an end, but it’s clear that Niall has a long career ahead of him. As the show came to an end, the singer promised the audience that he will be working very hard on his next album, and that he hopes to see everyone again. We can only imagine what’s yet to come, but based off these past years, we will be looking forward to Niall’s next project. Finishing the summer with Niall Horan was indeed the right move.
