Last Friday, Public opened up for Jesse McCartney’s “Better With You” tour at Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA. The trio quickly won over the crowd with their wild personalities and amazing stage presence. Public should definitely be on everyone’s radar due to their amazing talent. The band performed songs from their EP’s “Let’s Remake It,” and “Sweet Lemonade,” while constantly reminding the crowd who they were. As more and more songs got performed, the crowd got louder and louder. Knowing that the sold out theater may not be fully aware of their lyrics, the band had a well known cover ready to be unleashed. Informing the crowd, “We hope you know the words to following song,” the venue was filled with a familiar sound that any pop lover would easily recognize. Public performed their own version of “Toxic” by Britney Spears, and had the crowd singing along to every single word. The band will be joining Jesse for the remaining of his tour dates.
