Lydia stopped by the Foundry in Philadelphia last night, and as expected, they delivered an intense, spirited, and decisive performance. The supporting act, Cherry Pools, was very energetic throughout their beautiful neon-lit set. Their rebellious and punk rock style perfectly blends with the upbeat and dreamy vibe of their music. Despite having only 4 songs that are officially out, they also played multiple others that have not yet been released.

Cherry Pools:

The July release of Lydia’s new album Liquor seems to have infused the band with a “cocktail” of 1 part excitement and 1 part edginess. The set was a mix of old and new songs, but even their earlier tracks have a dash of innovation. The band was engaging with the crowd, and they even invited fans to meet them at the venue’s bar after the show.
