San Francisco based band Hot Flash Heat Wave finished off their last show of SXSW at Spider House Ballroom in Austin, Tx on March 15th. I met up with them a few hours before their show to take some portraits and look around the venue. While exploring behind the venue, we stumbled upon an old piano that had been smashed on the ground and a couch that was missing most of its pieces. So of course, these were our main focus during the shoot. However Nick, the drummer, also wanted to pose on the dumpsters, which is where we spoke about fashion and how each member experiments with it differently.
