Last night, Leon Thomas came to Brooklyn Bowl Nashville’s sold out venue with supporting act Ambre. Touring in support of his recent EP, PHOLKS, the singer, songwriter, and producer delivered a set that was a true star-level performance.
Ambre stepped into the light with a calm confidence. The crowd radiated a warmth all swaying together. Her sultry vocals made every note felt like an exhale and prepared the crowd the main event: Leon Thomas.
The moment the crowd was waiting for, Thomas moved effortlessly through his set, blending smooth R&B tones with live-band energy. Kicking off with “HOW FAST,” “FAR FETCHED,” and a few others before the crowd echoed back every line of “My Muse” and and mash up of “YES IT IS” and “Say Yes” (Floetry cover).
Thomas ended his set with “MUTT,” his most-loved anthem, before an encore performance of “SAFE PLACE.”

Everywhere you looked, people were dancing and holding each other. It was one of those rare nights where no one felt like a stranger, the crowd radiated with kindness with faces lit up with joy and connection.
