GWAR brings the final night of “The Stoned Age Tour” to Nashville

Date:

Earlier this week GWAR finished out their “The Stoned Age Tour” at Nashville, Tennessee’s Brooklyn Bowl music venue. Support for this show included Squid Pisser and Dark Funeral. Fans anxiously lined the barricade ready to take on whatever GWAR had in store.

From the moment GWAR walked on stage it was absolute chaos. The show’s addictive storyline involved battling ridiculous onstage enemies, from mascots to political figures. Each villain daring to challenge them met their fate, spraying the audience with a mix of fake blood and whatever else GWAR had up their sleeve. Their sound was tight, and their stage presence is next to none as frontman Blöthar the Berserker commanded the stage with guttural growls and tongue-in-cheek banter, setting the tone for an evening where no one, especially the fans, were safe.

Fans were screaming with excitement from the first note to the last as GWAR performed a whopping 18 song setlist. Featuring all the fan favorites such as “Happy Death-Day,” “Sick of You,” “Let Us Slay,” and “Maggots” fans sang along to each song word for word. By the time the band closed out fans were drenched in red from head to toe and smiling from ear to ear.

GWAR closed out the final night of tour with a nothing short of perfect as fans received exactly what they wanted, entertainment and a bloodbath. Although this tour is over, Nashville will anxiously anticipate their return in the near future. Click HERE for upcoming tour announcements and all GWAR news.
