Deep Tropics 2025 took over Bicentennial Park with EDM for everyone

Date:

Last weekend, Deep Tropics once again took over Bicentennial Park with 4 vibrant stages, over 50 mind-melting DJs and every corner packed with fans ready to enjoy the weekend. From the minute fans walked in, they were greeted by a wonderland of food trucks, clothing vendors with the most unique rave fits, personal lockers, and stages filled with music.

Night One — August 15th

On the first night of Deep Tropics, the energy kicked off HARD. TroyBoi hit the decks and immediately rattled fans with his signature bass-heavy swagger. Gentlemens Club took no prisoners, with filthy dubstep heaters like “Get Busy” and “Shut Yo Mouth,” fans kept the rail hot. Finishing the night off was Alison Wonderland. The queen descended and absolutely annihilated the main stage. Performing “Church” and “Run”, she had fans screaming, jumping as one, and crying on the dancefloor under a technicolor laser show. By the end of her set all that was left was glitter, sweat and smiles were everywhere.

The crowd’s outfits ranged from neon mesh, metallic bikinis, bell-bottoms, rhinestones, lace, butterfly wings, cowboy boots, LED goggles, matching couples looks, rainbow faux-fur and SO many bright lime greens, flamingo pinks, and glowing oranges… it felt like being inside a living breathing rainbow.

Day Two — August 16th

Round two started off with a bang with bright sunshine, smiles and costumed dancers roaming the grounds hyping everyone up. Disco Lines dove in with straight-up funky party vibes with “Baby Girl” and “Techno + Tequila,” which had everyone shuffling and dancing under vibrant graphics. Things got deeper as Liquid Stranger stepped in serving tracks like “Psychonaut” and “Weird Wubs”. Subtronics hit the stage and it was game over in the best way possible. From “Griztronics” to “Cyclops Rocks” his set let off fire cannons, rapid-fire lasers and had fans glad they spend their weekend at Deep Tropics.

As the last set wrapped and the crowd slowly spilled out of the Fairgrounds, it was clear that Deep Tropics had done it again. The weekend that was  about the people, the art, the fashion, and the moments that made strangers feel like friends… was over. Nashville turned into a glowing, glitter-covered oasis for 48 hours, and everyone there left with a little piece of it still buzzing inside them. Until next year, Deep Tropics. ✌️
