Filipino-British singer-songwriter Beabadoobee brought her Beatopia Tour for a very long awaited show in Montreal, Canada. Bea is on tour in support of her second album Beatopia released under Dirty Hit record label in July of this year. Fans were so eager to finally see Bea live for the first time on a headlining tour. Bea hasn’t been to Montreal since 2019 when she opened for Clairo so it was an exciting time for all.
The night got a great kickstart thanks to the opening band Lowertown performing songs from their album The Gaping Mouth also released under Dirty Hit record label. By the time they finished, the crowd was clearly ready to kick off their night with Beabadoobees.
Earning screams from fans as she skipped onto the stage, the 22-year-old opened her set with “10:36”. Beabadoobee’s setlist consisted of tracks from her previous album Fake It Flowers and EP Our Extended Play, as she performed “Care” and “Last Day On Earth” with her electric guitar.
As the magical night was coming to an end and fans cheered for an encore, Beabadoobee came back on stage expressing how thankful she is to be able to perform in Montreal describing it as a city “far from home”. She picked up her acoustic guitar and started playing her TikTok viral hit “Coffee” and finished up with a fans favourite “Cologne”.
The Beatopia tour is coming to an end in North America, but you can catch Bea in Europe next year as well as the Taylor Swift: Eras Tour for which she will be opening on a few dates.
