Bad Omens Takes Over Bridgestone with Beartooth and PRESIDENT

Date:

Bad Omens Do You Feel Love tour made its stop in Nashville, Tennessee on March 17th at Bridgestone Arena along with the powerhouse Beartooth and new enigmas PRESIDENT. It felt like one of those nights where everything just clicked from moody metal mayhem all the way to feel good metalcore that kept the crowd on their feet from the time PRESIDENT took the stage, all the way until Bad Omens wrapped it all up.

PRESIDENT opened things up and did their job well, they got people moving, got heads banging, and got crowd surfers in the air. PRESIDENT is a presence you must see to believe, in a short time they have taken over people’s minds in the scene, but you could tell the room was really waiting for what came next.

Then Beartooth hit the stage, and everything shifted. There’s no easing into a Beartooth set. Caleb Shomo walked out and immediately owned the entire arena like it was a packed club show, delivered a powerful acapella version of “Might Love Myself”, as the band joined in to fill the room. From the first song, it was loud, chaotic, and completely alive. You could feel it in your chest, the kind of energy that doesn’t just stay on stage, it spills out into the crowd as fans screamed along, came over the barricade and yelled their support for one of the best front men in the scene, Caleb Shomo in his new free phase.

What makes Beartooth stand out isn’t just how heavy they are, it’s how real their performance feels. Caleb has this way of talking to the crowd that doesn’t come off scripted or forced. It felt like he meant every word, whether he was screaming through a breakdown or taking a second to connect with the audience between songs. And Nashville gave that energy right back. By the middle of their set, the floor was a mess in the best way, pits opening, a wave of devel horns overtook the pit with Caleb leading it. Even in the seats, people were on their feet. Songs like “The Past Is Dead” and “Riptide” hit especially hard live, with the whole arena basically turning into one massive singalong. Honestly, Beartooth didn’t feel like an opener. It felt like a headliner set crammed into a shorter time slot. Shomo even stayed after everyone else in the band left to interact with the crowd, rallying their support and love. Beartooth continues to show why they stay around and are one of the best in the game.

When Bad Omens finally came on, they brought a completely different vibe, more polished, more atmospheric, very cinematic. And they were great at what they do. The visuals, the lighting, the way everything was timed out, it was all super intentional and immersive. Massive monitors filled the stage and overhead with waves of cinematics rolling across them as the floor was immersed in fog and pyro shot out around the quartet. The set was broken out into acts as cryptic videos played between each one, setting the mood for the next phase. Bad Omens closed strong, no question. There is a reason Bad Omens has rapidly moved onto selling out arenas, and Bridgestone got to witness that magic.

Some tours are about production. Some tours are about emotion. Somehow the Do You Feel Love tour manages to be both. It is definitely the tour to catch this spring, kicking off what will be an amazing season. The tour is not even halfway over yet, so if you have a chance to catch the trio of bands in action, do not hesitate.
