Jordi releases highly anticipated debut single “Hate You”

Date:

In addition to writing music that appeals to fans of artists like Sabrina Carpenter or Olivia Rodrigo, Jordi dances, performs on stage, and creates engaging content on social media.  She simply speaks to the Gen Z audience, giving them an enlivening mix of stories that touch on love, loss, and the complications that arise when trying to navigate this life.  Her millions of followers on TikTok and YouTube know that she is a force to be reckoned with, even if she is still fairly new to the scene.  Making a solid first impression, Jordi is releasing her debut single “Hate You,” giving old and new fans much to discuss.

A piano-based pop ballad, “Hate You” touches on the lingering feelings Jordi still has for an ex.  She sings, “Hate how you loved me in the right ways / How you turned us into a cliché / Hate how you made me fall / Hate how I don’t hate you at all,” aware that she should still not be interested in someone who hurt her.  In the end, she realizes, “I don’t wanna cut you out like this, but I think that I got to,” doing her best to set things right.  You can check it out in the video below.

About “Hate You,” Jordi shares,

“When I wrote this song, I remember having to be honest with my most-vulnerable self.  I know a lot of people are going through the same thing, so I hope the song embodies the emotions of still loving someone that hurt you.”

You can listen to “Hate You” on platforms like Apple Music and Spotify.
