James McVey of The Vamps announces second solo EP ‘Letters Home’ out July 19

Date:

The Vamps guitarist James McVey has announced that his second EP, Letters Home, will be released on July 19.

Before joining the band, McVey released his debut EP, Who I Am, in December 2009 before becoming a contestant on the 18th series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, finishing in 5th place. After celebrating The Vamps’ 10th anniversary, McVey wrote and recorded Letters Home during the Ten Years of The Vamps – The Greatest Hits Tour throughout 2022 and 2023.

In an Instagram post, McVey wrote about the EP:

“I had no plan to make this EP and no idea these songs would come to me on the road. I can’t wait for you to hear these songs in full.”

McVey previously released “Thick and Thin” in June 2024 about McVey’s childhood friends, as well as “All The Things”.
