Atlantic Records has just announced the highly anticipated F1 The Album. The soundtrack accompanying Apple Original Films’ action-packed movie will include a lineup of tracks from artists such as Tate McRae, Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton, and more.
The soundtrack campaign officially kicked off by releasing its first single, “Lose My Mind” from multi-platinum Houston rapper Don Toliver and multi-platinum super star Doja Cat. The track is produced by Ryan Tedder, utilizing and sampling the “F1 Movie Theme” by the Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer. The single came out with a captivating music video as well, as seen below.
This isn’t the first time Atlantic Records has over-delivered on their blockbuster soundtracks. The same label has brought cinematic pieces such as Barbie, Twisters, The Greatest Showman, and Suicide Squad to life utilizing their music. F1 The Album is driven by brand new tracks from an exhilarating lineup of superstar artists, including Ed Sheeran, Tate McRae, RAYE, Burna Boy, ROSÉ, Roddy Rich, Dom Dolla, Chris Stapleton, Tiësto, Sexyy Red, Myke Towers, Madison Beer, Peggy Gou and more.
The album was produced and overseen by Kevin Weaver along with Atlantic Records’ EVP and Co-Head of Pop/Rock A&R Brandon Davis and Atlantic Records’ SVP A&R/Marketing Joseph Khoury. Kevin Weaver is a multi-Grammy Award Winner, 7x Grammy Award-nominee, and the Atlantic Records West Coast President. Weaver has an incredibly impressive record of producing numerous multi-platinum soundtrack projects.
