Just when we thought Wilco had maxed out their touring calendar for 2025, they went ahead and dropped a whole new batch of dates—this time under the name “An August Evening with Wilco.” And honestly? It’s giving “can’t miss.”
These newly added shows kick off August 5th and weave through the U.S. and into Canada, following what’s already a whirlwind spring and summer for the band. Between their “Sweet and Sour Spring Tour” (which includes several dates with Waxahatchee), an international leg that hits South America and Europe, and their stop at the Outlaw Music Festival with literal legends like Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan—Wilco isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
If you’ve seen them live before, you know what kind of night you’re in for. If you haven’t, this year is a good time to fix that. Their setlists are expected to pull from across their whole catalog—including their 2023 album Cousin and last year’s Hot Sun Cool Shroud EP. They’re also reissuing The Whole Love as an expanded triple LP in May, and A Ghost Is Born is getting the full deluxe box set treatment early next year. This tour is for both longtime fans and the ones just diving in.
Tickets for the new August dates go on sale this Friday, April 18 at 10am local time via their website, and if past shows are any indication (several are already sold out), you might want to set an alarm.
