While they have had different experiences with their careers, CHUNG HA and Etham both share a deep passion for music that has brought them this far. Co-written by Kevin D, MONJOE, Kensuke Takahashi, YOUHA, and Hautboi Rich, the single is a vibrant mix of melodies, themes, and emotions – all stemming from a love that is lost too soon. Etham’s soulful vocals beautifully pair with CHUNG HA’s bright pop timbre, giving the track a lot of heart despite the lingering heartbreak and regret that comes forth in the lyrics. We hear lines like, “You are still beautiful / There’s no wonder why you’re still on my mind / Sometimes I wish what we had was love / I know we both deserve better,” and “I just hope you’re safe / And that you haven’t changed,” the underlying optimism trying its best to break through.
