Have you ever done something so cringe that you couldn’t even tell your closest friends about it? It might not even be that bad, but you know that the judgment you would face from your besties would be so much worse than what actually happened. And you know that once you tell them, there is no going back. In BIZZY’s case, she is not quite ready to tell her gal pals what she did, but she is more than happy to tell her devoted fanbase.

With “Don’t Tell The Girls,” BIZZY fills us in on her secret. The playful alt-pop track starts out with the juicy, “He called me up / So what was I to do / But just show up / Maybe he’s changed / ‘Cause after all, it’s been almost eight months.” At this point in the story, if BIZZY was telling this to her crew, they would definitely be giving her some side eye. The more she continues on, the more the guitar-driven melodies fuel the narrative, escalating to a bold, anthemic chorus. Once there, BIZZY reveals, “Don’t tell the girls that I spent the night at his house / He was the worst, so I’ll never live this down.”

About “Don’t Tell The Girls,” BIZZY shares,

“‘Don’t Tell The Girls’ is about the classic weakness of going back to your shitty ex. You know it’s wrong, so you keep it a secret, because once your friends find out, there is no way in hell they will let you go through with it. Not without reminding you of everything that person did to wrong you and how down-bad you were when things ended.”

In May, BIZZY will head out with Rachel Chinouriri on her ‘All I Ever Asked For Was A North American Tour.’ The tour will start in Washington D.C., make its way through various cities like Chicago and San Francisco, and then conclude in Manchester, Tennessee.
