Every Monday, we bring you a playlist filled with new tracks the Melodic staff has been listening to on repeat. Hear some of our latest obsessions below:
——
THE DRIVER ERA, “I’d Rather Die” – Alt-pop powerhouse duo THE DRIVER ERA has dropped yet another single from their upcoming album Obsession, releasing on the 11th of April. “I’d Rather Die” has a more minimalist production compared to previous singles, but is still stapled with the brother duo’s infamous catchy melodies and synth sounds.

——
grentperez, “Yours to Keep” – Perez wraps the album up beautifully with “Yours to Keep.” It’s the type of song that makes you want to slow dance under a gazebo in a field on a sunny spring day. The strumming background instrumentals paired with the delightful lyrical imagery of daisies, a nice breeze, blue skies, and a full and taken heart make for the ending that audiences can only hope for when approaching an album based on young love.

Linkin Park, “Up From The Bottom” – Linkin Park have unleashed their brand-new single, “Up From The Bottom,” marking their first single following their 2024 comeback album, From Zero. The track, teased through their LPTV “From Zero” video series, gives fans an inside look at co-vocalists Mike Shinoda and Emily Armstrong working together in the studio. “Up From The Bottom” delivers a message of resilience and determination, staying true to the band’s signature intensity while introducing an uplifting, fresh energy.
– Carl Markland
——
Jon Bellion, “WASH” – American singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer Jon Bellion is starting a new chapter with his newest single, “WASH,” his first single in six years. The comeback as a solo artist brings a new sound to his discography — a calming one. The single is accompanied by a music video that was shot on Mýrdalsjökull, a glacier in Iceland, showcasing Bellion’s artistic vision. “WASH” is expected to be the lead single of his forthcoming album, as Bellion has kicked off the new era rollout with updates to fans subscribed to his newsletter.
