M’Lynn tries to forget past love in new song “Wasted On You”

Date:

Growing up in a musical family, Dallas-based singer-songwriter M’Lynn has always had a passion for performing. She is known for her vulnerable songwriting which shares stories of her lived experiences and struggles with mental health. Her new song “Wasted On You” focuses on trying to move on from a bad relationship.

The alt-soul anthem “Wasted On You” is about reminiscing on past love. Through punchy percussion and smooth vocals, M’Lynn struggles to forget her time spent with a partner that was not good for her. The lyrics reflect on this person’s negative impact on her life and how she has become more secluded after their breakup.
