GRAMMY nominated DJ/producer Chris Lake teams up with Brazilian powerhouse Ragie Ban to drop their new track, “Toxic,” on March 28 via Black Book Records/Astralwerks. The electrifying single reimagines Bell Biv DeVoe’s 1990 classic “Poison,” blending its nostalgic new jack swing vibes with Lake’s signature driving bass lines and crisp, percussive energy—creating a dance floor anthem that fans have been craving.
Ever since Lake started teasing “Toxic” during his sets at Ocaso Music Festival, Sammy Virji’s LA show, and Concourse, buzz around the track has skyrocketed. The song promises to be a staple in his upcoming performances, and fans won’t have to wait long to hear it live.
Lake’s upcoming tour schedule is just as exciting as his latest release. On April 10, he will headline Coachella’s first-ever “Thursday Night Campgrounds” performance, a special pre-festival set exclusively for campers. Following Coachella, he kicks off an Australian tour in May, with sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as a performance at Fisher’s expanded Out 2 Lunch Festival on the Gold Coast.
