Seattle’s heavy-pop quartet, The Home Team, has unveiled the official music video for “Somebody Else’s Face,” featuring Oliver Baxxter of Broadside. This track, originally from their 2024 album The Crucible of Life, is directed by longtime collaborator Sam Link, the video was filmed in Greater London. It opens with a close-up of a dilating eye, transitioning to a shattering mask. The narrative follows a masked individual observed by Baxxter’s character, who is then pursued by eerie masked figures.

The collaboration between The Home Team and Broadside is seamless, with Butcher and Baxxter’s vocals complementing each other effectively. The track’s intensity is amplified by its spiteful lyricism, addressing feelings of betrayal and bitterness.

Fans have expressed enthusiasm for the song and its visual representation. One listener noted, “An amazing and addicting album. A band that really has developed their own sound. It’s been a while that I’ve heard a new album that I couldn’t stop listening to”.

In the spring, The Home Team will be opening up for Dance Gavin Dance on their Return of the Robot Tour. The band is also slated to perform at this years Warped Tour festival in Long Beach, CA and Orlando, FL.
