American singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer Jon Bellion is starting a new chapter with his newest single, “WASH,” his first single in six years. The comeback as a solo artist brings a new sound to his discography — a calming one. The single is accompanied by a music video that was shot on Mýrdalsjökull, a glacier in Iceland, showcasing Bellion’s artistic vision. “WASH” is expected to be the lead single of his forthcoming album, as Bellion has kicked off the new era rollout with updates to fans subscribed to his newsletter:
“This is the music I’ve been tryna make my whole life. I just had to live enough life to make it.”
Bellion is best known for his work on The Human Condition, released in 2016, and features the hit single “All Time Low.” He has collaborated with major names in music, including the Jonas Brothers, Zedd, and ILLENIUM. Bellion also founded Beautiful Mind Projects, a label, publishing, and management group that represents pop-soul group Lawrence.
