Molly Grace shines bright in her hometown Boston show

Date:

Pop star Molly Grace has been making waves in the music industry and she set out on her “But I’m a Popstar” tour with a stop in her hometown of Boston at The Sinclair. It was a heartfelt homecoming for Molly where she grew up, and getting to play a venue like The Sinclair in the middle of Harvard square and sell the hell out of it was extra special for her. She had her parents in attendance as well as friends and even some of her old theater teachers which was so heartwarming to see. Everyone was in store for a fantastic night in Boston.

Fans packed the venue early on, dressed in an array of glittery pink outfits, mirroring Molly’s signature pink aesthetic. The energy in the room was electric as the crowd waited for the show to begin, singing along to the very queer playlist that Molly had curated. You love to see it.

The show kicked off with a fantastic performance from Claire Ernst, a friend of Molly’s and fellow college alum. Her vocals really shined bright with her witty lyrics that got the crowd going. It was the biggest audience Claire had ever played for which was so sweet to see.

After Claire’s stellar performance it was now time for Molly to grace (no pun intended) the stage. She came out dressed in her signature pink sparkly dress, looking like a total diva pop star in the best way. She had the crowds attention from the moment she took the stage. The energy was insane. Her setlist was well curated and had all the gems like “Woman’s Intuition“, “Femme“, and ” Lover (love her)“. Because she’s from Boston she even threw in the ever so special “Red Line” to the crowds delight, even though it wasn’t on the setlist originally. I mean you’re in Harvard Square, of course you have to play “Red Line”. Molly expressed her appreciation for her hometown crowd all night long, shouting out her friends and family in the crowd and her love for everyone supporting her over the years. It truly was a special night and one to remember for sure. She truly is a queer pop star in the making! Be sure to check out Molly on the rest of her tour here.
