Canadian country rock artist HARDY has lunched record label, Crow Records, in partnership with Big Loud Rock, along with the label’s debut release artist, Sikarus, with single “Nonchalant.”
The new label headed under HARDY will primarily sign and release artists mostly from the rock spacem including the country rock Nashville-based native Sikarus. Speaking about the label’s new artist, HARDY shared, “I love rock ‘n’ roll, I love exploring new things and I couldn’t be happier for Sikarus to be the first artist signed to Crow Records.”
HARDY also noted a goal for Crow Records is to foster artists developing unique and new sounds. Big Loud Rock partner Joey Moi commented that “developing the next generation of alternative and rock artists is at our core.”
Sikarus is the solo project of Jordan Brooker, a songwriter with a long line of credits including Luke Combs. Brooker reconnected with HARDY recently while signing onto the new label and is set to open for him in upcoming U.S. live shows.
