Kelsea Ballerini has a little bit more baggage to unpack. While closing out the first leg of her highly successful Live on Tour arena shows, Ballerini announced that PATTERNS (DELUXE) will be released on March 7 via Black River Entertainment.
The deluxe edition of the album will feature five additional tracks, including “To The Men Who Love Women After Heartbreak,” a song Ballerini has performed live multiple times on tour and during special appearances, such as at the Grand Ole Opry and on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Ballerini also debuted the sleek new track “Future Tripping” on stage in Fort Worth, where she made the announcement.
Other new songs include punchy and atmospheric “Put It To Bed,” soulful “Cut Me Up” and earnest “Hindsight is Happiness.” All of these tracks were co-written with Ballerini’s long-time collaborator, Alysa Vanderheym, who has co-written and co-produced much of Ballerini’s work since 2023’s Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. “To The Men” also features co-writing credits from other frequent female collaborators including Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Hillary Lindsay (Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga). The deluxe edition announcement follows the original album’s debut at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 on October 25, marking Ballerini’s first album to top the Billboard Country Albums chart. Along with the addition of the new tracks, she also unveiled the updated album artwork via social media.
