davvn brings your favorite 2000s sound to new single, “any other girl”

Date:

Pop rock duo davvn (pronounced “dawn”) dropped their newest genre-blending single, “any other girl,” on Feb. 7. Drawing elements from rock and R&B among other classic sounds of the 2000s, davvn hopes to help you feel like you stayed up all night and are watching a new sunrise begin.

“any other girl” brings the same vibe as a coming of age romcom — with melodies like Avril Lavigne and the lyricism of Taylor Swift, davvn’s newest track is the perfect fit for playlists like “All New Pop” and “Chill Pop.”

On Instagram, davvn said:

“i can’t believe our *most vulnerable* song to date is out in the world today. ‘any other girl’ is a journal entry about how i often feel like im not good enough when im not as perfect as what i see in others around me. someone prettier, smarter, more talented… you can lose yourself in the comparison. but we wanted the song to turn around and show you that people love you for being you.”
