SYML embraces his power in new song “Careful”

Date:

Seattle-based artist and producer SYML is ready to release his third album, Nobody Lives Here. This album dives into the complexities of life and showcases his storytelling. His latest single release, “Careful,” focuses on finding your perfect moment.

“Careful” is about waiting for your time to shine. Through steady piano and strong vocals, SYML wonders when he will finally be ready to take the lead. Lyrics such as “I have been patient, running out of time to waste / I will embrace it, ready when they call my name / Will they call my name?” show his drive to step into the spotlight and his eagerness to do so now.

Sharing more about “Careful” SYML comments:

“Comparison is inevitable for us as humans. I tend to be a competitive person, and that can make comparison dangerous. As I grow, I feel like I have a better perspective on what it is to have a job, be in relationships, and be in my body. Luckily, I am surrounded by people who remind me that while these things help to define me, they are not who I am. ‘Careful’ is a reminder to myself.”
