Peyton Shay releases newest EP with unapologetic title track “Daydream Police”

Date:

19-year-old Billboard charting artist Peyton Shay released her newest EP including single “Daydream Police” on Jan. 10. Writing songs about the journey through young adulthood, Shay’s music is inspired by the nostalgia of the early 2000s.

About her new EP, Shay said on Instagram:

“Over the past year I’ve put my heart and everything I have into this project. Writing this EP felt like a return to my roots. It’s raw, messy, and unapologetically me.”

In one week since being released, “Daydream Police” has amassed nearly 7,000 streams on Spotify, and is Shay’s sixth most popular song. Her independent spirit shines through in the single and throughout the Daydream Police EP as she continues to push boundaries in the music industry.
