She’s everything you could want in a popstar: playful, charming, magnetic… I could go on and on, but you will just have to take my word when I say that Molly Grace should definitely be on your radar. She pulls inspiration from artists like Reneé Rapp and Chappell Roan, incorporating their fresh styles and lively auras into her music and live shows. In fact, Molly’s debut set at Bonnaroo last year was named the “Best Festival Set” by the Nashville Scene. We don’t yet know what 2025 has in store for her, but Molly is not afraid to get things started with her first release of the year, “F.E.M.M.E.”
An acronym for “Fabulous, Enticing, Magnetic, Magical, Everything,” F.E.M.M.E.” is the ultimate self-love anthem. Produced by Cody Fitzgerald (Lawrence, Pom Pom Squad), the song celebrates confidence and the ability to put yourself first. With her powerhouse pop vocals, Molly sings, “It doesn’t matter how you talk, how you dress / Don’t have to prove a thing to any of them” and “I’m sorry I’m not sorry that I don’t fit your fantasy,” completely over the drama and conflicting opinions. In the end, if you’re struggling to find your worth, just know that Molly is cheering you on – with “F.E.M.M.E.” blasting in the background.
About the single, Molly explains,
“‘F.E.M.M.E.’ marks a shimmering, anthemic return to releasing music after a year of writing, touring, and developing my artist project. In the past couple of years, I’ve realized that my femininity and queerness are a dazzling pair, and that gay doesn’t have to look, talk, or act any certain kind of way. I hope this song makes all the femmes of the world feel sexy, confident, and comfortable in their skin, and I hope everyone else has the time of their lives dancing along!”
