Canadian alternative-pop duo Bestfriend release their newest single “YOU LOOK JUST LIKE ME,” which will be featured on their upcoming EP that is set to be released in the spring. The duo is made up of lead vocalist Stacy Kim and Kaplan Geoffrey. They both have a niche for story-telling through pop music.
The single explores a search for identity while overcoming the fear of change and learning to accept that others shape who we are as people. Whether you want to or not, you will adapt traits of those you’ve had relationships with.
As individuals, a lot of us are the people we spend our lives with. There are strings tied between ourselves and those people so fine we miss a great deal of them before we’re gone.
