The Sex Pistols revealed as Rock For People’s fourth and final headliner

Date:

Czechia’s famous rock and metal festival, Rock For People, has opened the last window on their Advent calendar to reveal The Sex Pistols as their fourth and final headliner. The legendary punk rock band will celebrate 50 years on the scene and will perform with a new lineup. Founding Sex Pistols members Paul Cook, Steve Jones, and Glen Matlock will be joined on stage by Frank Carter of Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes. The Sex Pistols have only played in Czechia one time before in 1996.

With other headliners including Slipknot, Guns N’ Roses, and Linkin Park, the demand for tickets for this year’s festival is unmatched. Festival founder director Michel Thomes comments,

“I dare say the lineup we’ve managed to put together for next year’s show is truly exceptional. The bar for the festival is once again being raised and we are seeing a huge demand for tickets that we have never seen before…Already, six months before the event, over 85% of the capacity of full-festival tickets is sold out.”

In addition to the final headliner, the festival announced 22 other bands, with still more to be announced in 2025. They also divided the lineup into days and released single-day tickets for sale, except for Saturday tickets which are already sold out. Experiential accommodation is also sold out. If you’re looking to catch Rock For People’s 30th anniversary, get your tickets as soon as possible.
