papa mbye is known for writing about personal experiences. These experiences help him craft captivating narratives that he blends with catchy melodies to create his unique music that listeners love. His new song “COMMON SENSE” focuses on growing up. 

“COMMON SENSE” is about the transition from youth to adulthood. Through layered percussion and hazy vocals, papa mybe pokes fun at the idea of common sense as he connects it to childhood and suggests it slowly disappears as you age. Lyrics such as, “Miss myself when I had some common sense” point towards this joke as “COMMON SENSE” challenges listeners to reframe their perception of the world around them.
