Rock For People, Czechia’s annual rock and metal festival, has just released some big news: not only have they announced Avenged Sevenfold as the third headliner, but they’ve also announced that they’re adding a 5th day to the festival in order to celebrate the festival’s 30th birthday with the help of Live Nation CZ. Guns N’ Roses are slated to play this special celebration on Sunday, June 15, at Hradec Králové’s Park 360 alongside other bands.
This will be Avenged Sevenfold’s first show in the country in 11 years and their return is eagerly awaited by fans and festival-goers. Guns N’ Roses will celebrate 40 years on the rock scene next year, perfectly punctuated by their performance at Rock For People. Sharing more about the decision to add Guns N’ Roses to the festival’s 5th day, festival director Michal Thomes remarks,
“When the opportunity arose to invite a name from the highest league of rock legends, Guns N’ Roses, to join our 30th anniversary celebration in collaboration with Live Nation, I didn’t hesitate for a minute. This year’s festival will be a sort of five-day festival, with other bands joining this legend on Sunday. Our current lineup is every promoter’s dream and I really couldn’t ask for more!”
Rock For People is currently running the best kind of Advent calendar on their website: on each day until Christmas, a new band for 2025’s festival lineup will be revealed. Previously revealed headliners include Slipknot and Linkin Park.
Those holding full-festival tickets will have access to the pre-sale of discounted Sunday tickets on Thursday, December 12. General sale for Sunday tickets starts on Friday, December 13. You can also purchase single tickets for the Sunday Birthday Day without attending the rest of the festival.
